This original painting was part of a 5 piece series exploring the many layers that go into a humans makeup. The artist had torn paper from past projects, she had her friends send in handwritten quotes and memories, a film photograph the artist took of her mother, and ink droplets from ink bought by her sister. This piece then won the Charlotte Artpop Street Gallery Billboard competition and was displayed as a billboard for 2024! A very deeply meaningful piece.
